Ravana Ella

The Ravana Falls, one of the most well-known with a wild reputation for being wild, is a significant place mentioned in the Ramayana, a well-known Indian epic. The falls, which are both a popular tourist destination and a water supply for the peasants who cultivate the nearby mountain, is located in the Dry Zone of Welimada. According to legend, King Ravana imprisoned the kidnapped Sita in the cave behind the Ravana Falls, which is appropriately dubbed the Ravana Falls Cave. With a height of 25 meters, the Ravana Falls is hardly a contender for the title of highest, but it undoubtedly has its own special appeal of being untamed. It is six kilometers from the well-known Ella train station.
